If the battery is completely discharged, the robot can be placed in the charging station. The main switch must be pressed to the on position and the lid closed. Note that the smaller S models do not have a lid. The charging station will light green, but shortly after change to red to begin charging. If it remains green, repeat the process until it lights red. If it does not change to red, leave the machine in the station for 1 hour or more.
See the videos below if necessary.
NB - Battery failure can also be caused by the main switch being set to OFF. If the machine is in the station with the switch off, it will report
battery fault or limit signal fault.
The robot sometimes runs around in spirals, it does this to improve the coverage of the lawn. Read more on page 6 of the manual.
When the robot signals outside the boundary wire because it has been moved around, it can be reset by pressing the main switch and then switching it on again. Make sure the robot is within the working area.
The manual also explains why your charging station flashes or lights up.
